Very nice design. Stealth bomber meets Aliens. I definitely like this oncept! The only thing (and it could totally be my eyes) I wonder about are the cockpits. Aren't they a bit off center? Or is that on purpose?

Yeah Aliens were the main inspiration for this design :D Cockpits are actually on center, but the hull slopes at weird angles and the cockpit wraps itself around that hull. It looks weird, but should be rather accurate.

I figured it was the perspective (or my vision)! Nice work either way though!

Thanks :D I had a pretty difficult time drawing it all and I had to create more details on the base 3D model and refer to it for the details.

I can definitely see the Aliens Dropship inspiration in this design, very nice. Although, being a dropship, and having to be launched from a starship, I imagine that this suckers wings fold up for storage correct?

Well there were no plans for folding wings, but I think this one could actually be more atmosphere-bound, delivering troops from point A to B.

yeah, from established bases to trouble points. Like the difference between a Sea Hawk and a Blackhawk.

Due to advanced heat-conducting materials the craft can enter an atmosphere at comparably high speeds. It's not something I see happening anytime soon due to the real-life weight constraints and material limitations, but as long as the structural integrity of the vehicle is given (no hull breaches!) it should be possible for a purpose-built 28th century military vessel. :)
