Im interested in how you achieved your look of this render. I plan on doing something similar, and was wondering if you might have some tips/clues that could help.

It's a pretty simple render in reality and there's not a lot of work apart from modeling the ship. Most important thing is color mixing and I do that in Photoshop. I fill the entire window with one color such as blue, pink, red, violet etc. Then I choose a mixing method for that layer such as color burn, overlay, soft light and adjust the opacity so that it pronounces a certain color or shadows/highlights. It's all done differently for each render and I have no set routine to follow.
As for the lens flares, I use a soft brush flattened to 1% so that it appears very long and thin.

Actually quite true. There is a similarity to a Jem'Hadar cruiser; at least from that angle. Nothing bad about that at all! And which part of space is that? The Bloomberg sector?
