Now that makes me imagine how a Reaper versus Basestar/s battle would go...

Oh wow, the sheer curbstomp would absolutely epic.

Missiles? Good luck actually hitting the bastard, and if you do, good luck breaking those shields. Or that freaky armor. Fighters? lolno, pwnd by Oculi or defense lasers. Direct ship-to-ship combat? Obliterated by magnetohydrodynamic cannons. Hack attack? Yeah, because trying to hack the millions of years old Artificial Intelligence quantum supercomputer mecha-cthulu is SUCH a good idea.

They'd have to absolutely *hose* the evil thing with hundreds upon hundreds of missiles and fighters to kill it, and I'm not so sure even that would work. And if it does, I believe it would just go "fuck this" and run away with its nifty Mass Effect FTL drive before they can really hurt it.

I'd pay to see that fight.

That's a really cool interpretation of the Cylon raider. It actually fits the design style of some aliens (well, robots) in the game called the Geth. You should really play the Mass Effect series some time. They're very derivative design wise, especially of Blade Runner, but it's so well done that you really enjoy it, rather seeing that as a downside. Over all they're some of the most inspiring games I've played.
