A simple image showing my two latest Star Trek models, the MantaRay (right side) and Monarch (left) class ships. Both were designed by handofmanos: [link]

Thanks for the comment :) Now that the ships are finished, more renders will come soon. More ships should follow as well.

Love both the Monarch and MantaRay ships. Great warp texture. Seems so real. I do miss the ENT era ships. Something was missing during the ST:ENT run. Thank you for the great hard work you have done.

Thanks ! I also felt that Enterprise could use a lot more ships, mostly because a lot of episodes (especially season 4) took place around Earth.
Ah well, at least fans are trying to fill that gep :)

Beautifully crafted, in recent days I myself have thought at taking a shot at some low poly versions. However I don't think my skills are good enough to do the Mantaray from scratch.

This is a great image and you've done very well on the models, I look forward to seeing more on these two as time goes on. :)

Thanks :) The MantaRay is actually really simple and doesn't require a lot of fancy geometry - it's mostly flat :D

Yeah that's my problem. Using Milkshape 3D as a program, it doesn't have all the advanced features of the higher poly programs. So one must do all the cut outs by hand slowly face by face. I think doing it would be harder than the Monarch for me.

I really hope to see some more progress on this one soon. It's coming along very nicely. :)
