Yeah, that's the thing. I don't remember what were the specs of the ship, but it was quite deadly with that.

Looks like a cross between a CR90 Blockade Runner and a Mandalorian Crusader-class corvette.

Yeah it was a mix of elements from a few vessels in a custom shape, as ordered by the commissioner :)

I'd say that commissioner got their money's worth. Very nice design.

I Liked the overall design. A not so distant relative to the fame Blockade runner. One question though how long is it? I guess from design influence, bridge section size and the size of turrets it is more like a corvette rather than a freighter. About 100m long maybe?

Thanks. I think it could be over 100 meters, as it's a few levels high. I didn't make exact measurements though.

This looks like someone took a CEC designed heavy freighter and slapped a bunch of laser turrets on her. Looks like she's pretty fast and well armed enough to deter the idle aggressor.

Very nice design, great work.

Thanks :) It is indeed supposed to look like a heavily modified (and not always in the best way) ship, designed for multi-purpouse missions.

Thanks. I based my ship more on the Corellian vehicles though, with the main components being lead shapes.

Think it should be green and yellow - traditional Bounty colours - but hey if this is what they want - superb!!

I can see this as a mobile meeting place for "These Bounty hunting Scum".

Colors were given to me :D

It's more of a fightclub than a meeting place though, this thing is packing some serious weapons :P

Actually it's a multi-purpouse ship :) It's been refitted by the bounty hunters to fit all kinds of missions.

Very similar to the ones used on Malevolence in Star Wars the Clone Wars series - more or less ion cannons with a pretty good range :)

The whole game was a magical experience :D I was 10 at the time and nothing even came close to the brilliant gameplay of RS. Even my uncle who played no games (he doesn't even have a computer), visited my house every day and tried to beat my scores. The best thing about this one was the Naboo N1 though -  I was going crazy when I learned that you can unlock it :D

I agree with Tattorack, this one looks clunky, blocky yet fast, and the gunnery on the back sugest sever firepower.
Thatīs not a ship you engage without caution.
But one thing irritates me: the second turret in the middle canīt shoot straight forward, it would hit the fuselage. With the flank turrets, thatīs no problem, but it seems to be a little profligate to put a turret in the deep position. A waste of potential.
The first middle turret over the bow, the second where the first one is now, then both would be able to fire forward.

The central turret isn't designed to fire straight forward. As I am sure this ship isn't designed to head straight at the enemies. It still has a good 270-300 degree firing arc.

I get that point, but it makes sense to place turrets where they have the best possible firing arc.

Haha I actually put the turret there on the blueprint without thinking it over and when I made the 3D mesh I just realised how useless it is :D
Reply
:iconheretic1311:
Heretic1311 Featured By Owner Oct 23, 2013
I wouldnīd say useless, it still can cover flanks and overhead.
But it has neither foreward nor rearward firing possibility.

Yeah, that's the biggest drawback for it. There are enough turrets around it anyway.
