Where to start? The setting is pretty realistic, the sand colored background really brings out the ship. The shading is perfect. The Corellian ship is highly detailed and the angle is esthethically very good, it helps give the impression of a real snapshot However, the focus of the scene is general, in a real picture the objects in the background would look more blurry. Althought the setting for the landing is not original (it resembles Tatooine) it is quite well pictured and gives a good image of the place, the distances between the buildings are adecuately placed. I would recommend to include creatures (human or non-human) strolling around to create a more realistic picture (the sun is not at it's highest peak so it's more likely the inhabitants will go out during this time). Great job with the shading and the details! Impressive.

BrainlessGenie pretty much summed it up. A crew member or two near the ship to give an impression of the comparative scale and perhaps some Jawas and/or droids. Otherwise excellent work! :jedi:

No, it's not. The YT-1300 comes in a lot of variants because it's modular. This is one variant.

I really have missed a few of your works during the last weeks. Damn busy life. Very nice work. You can actually feel the sun looking at this image. The color tones are great and it does feel very realistic!

Thanks :D It was quite a challenge to get the warm look down, as I never did it before and desert doesn't look the same in stills as it does in a movie shot. I just oversaturated the whole thing and overlayed a bunch of reds, oranges and yellows :P

I know the feeling. I feel most comfortable working with hues of blue. I have to force myself away from that habit and go with warmer colors. It certainly isn't easy, especially that with more light, details can't be left to the imagination!

The Han Solo character was "correlian" and won the Millenium Falcon in a "poker game/bet/race equivalent" from the Lando
Calrissian character. No where in the original Star Wars Bible´s 3 chapters did anyone say the Millenium Falcon was "correllian" . Admittedly it was a long time ago i saw/read the bible. You all in here sounds like heretics/full of it. The drawing is good, but its not "corellian" whatever that is.

I'm glad to hear that you like it, but Corellian refers to the manufacturer, which for the YT freighters is Corellian Engineering Corporation. I'm not an expert when it comes to the Star Wars lore, as I gather my information from the internet mostly, but it seemed pretty clear to me.

cool pic, but isn't it mirrorred from the original YT-1300 concept?
