For starters, the designs are very well kept to the originals from the movies, and even the modified cockpit on the Corellian vessel still feels true to the style.
The angle feels exciting, and gives us a good look at what's happening, and the picture seems well balanced.
The coloring is also well done, with a nice amount of detail on the main vessel. The mismatched panels makes it seem old and historic, much like the Millennium Falcon.
The three-dimensional aspects seemed to have all worked well, with the slight exception of the Corellian ship's thrusters. The angle they're attached at and the angle the ends are facing just doesn't seem to line up.
Besides that one tiny detail, the overall piece looks very nice.

Impressive! I love how the angles and positions of the ships imply the action rather than blurring. The planet below is nicely done and feels like a real world, even though the color palette is limited.

A couple things I would change have to do with the laser bolts. First, I think they would look more threatening if they had a larger "aura" around them. They sort of resemble glowing toothpicks as they are and don't feel that intimidating. Second, the impact on the freighter seems to be lacking. I think maybe it needs larger flashes on the impact zone, like perhaps a small shield hit about the size of the maintenance bays on the mandibles. This could also apply to the muzzle flash on the freighter's cannons. Finally, they need some hint of motion. Lasers move rather quickly, and because they lack motion blur they feel like they're sitting still in space.

Other than that this scene really flows well and has a nice Classic Star Wars feel to it. :D

The placement of the cockpit on the Millenium Falcon always bothered me. Having it on the side as supposed to the center where it should be, could disorientate the pilot, which is the last thing you want to do when flying. Glad to see it fixed.

I just like that it's basic shape is more symmetrical. These ships can't have hangers can they? A modification of one of these with space for even just one fighter and that's my personal starwars ship.

Yeah I also like symmetry in bigger ships, as Falcon is just impractical with its cockpit on the side. As for the hangar, I don't think any of the YT freighters are equipped for that.

Didn't think so. They're too small to have a proper hanger as standard.

Yeah, they're mostly cargo ships as well, so a fighter would be useless :)

That's true and starwars doesn't use landing craft so there wouldn't be a hanger for one of those either.

Still my personal ship MUST have an area for at least a single fighter. I am not about to give up one ship for another.

Well, the Ghtroc had a bay for a fighter so it's not uncommon :)

Isnt it beautiful! I hope it is not uncouth to state I am the commissioner. This is the Saracen Saber, the ship of my team from the first RPG game i played, good ole West End Games Star Wars! She has a special place in my heart :)

My character was a pilot and the only Officer in the group and so I was placed in charge. Quite a surprise for me as 13 year old playing with mostly adult and experienced gamers, half of them Active Duty Military, one of them I had knows since I was 3. So it was indeed trial by fire! We were a Special Ops group, acting as smugglers, performing extractions or infiltration, as well as other missions. She was a great ship!

She was originally a stock YT-1300 (Center Cockpit), with dorsal and ventral quads like the Falcon. The modification you notice in the stern was to add more cargo room was designed of all people by my sister. I thought it was cool that my sister was gaming with us, and she was a good players. However, we found out years after she quit and the game had ended that she was an Imperial spy and had led to the deaths of nearly half the group and almost every PC or NPC that had been killed!!!

YT are the technical names for Corellian transports like the Millenium Falcon :)

We did do some smuggling, we had a sweet hidden compartment in my Captain's Quarters, mine that is until my stooopid sister brought in her girl character and everyone forced me to give up my cabin.

Anyway, see my comment above for the full story!

A heavily modifyed and reconfigured YT1300! It appears the owner remodelled it after the image of the YT2000. Just with a higher positioned cockpit. Very nice!

Well it's based on quite a few YT vessels :D I even don't know which one it's supposed to imitate exactly :P
Anyway, I even did some changes to the provided drawing, so it should be quite unique.

According to official sources, Corellian ships are created to be modifyable and there are almost not two identical ships in use, even though they where build on the same basis. So, your work is quite realistic for a Corellian light!

Ah I even didn't know that :D Good to know that because my next Corellian ship will basically be a nicer Falcon with some mods !

Please see my comment above! The original YT with the center cockpit was in the classic Tramp Freighters source book, a ship called the Oo-Ta Goo-Ta (10 points to those who can translate that!)

Anyway, she was designed before the YT-2400 debuted, but please see my comment above for more history!

Since iīm european, i often donīt know the original names and designations of items or crafts, so any atempt of mine to translate would be futile. And i never could get my hands on all the EU Star Wars stuff, so there are many thing i donīt know (Austria has a practically non-existend comic/graphic-novel-market).
