How many meters is a Nebulon A Frigate?

Hey, well done... shares some angular contours with the Kuat Drive Yards star destroyer line, especially the Clone Wars Acclamator, and the Nebulon-B is a KDY product. Call this a clone wars design, only sold in small numbers, but became the basis for KDY's winning entry in one of the Empire's early design contests. The Nebulon-B goes on to become one of the most common warships in the galaxy.

What would you compare this to size wise???

Probably the blockade runner - it would be slightly bigger than one of them .

This is a very nice ship design. It looks like it could comfortably fill the gap between a Nebulon-B frigate and a blockade runner as mid-sized capital ships go. Do you have any specifications for this vessel? Like, length, crew, displacement, weapons, fighters, etc?

Thanks :) I didn't do detailed descriptions and dimensions on my ships, but it should be a bit smaller than the Nebulon B, about 60% of its length.

This looks a little like the Split M4 class fighter from the X3 games, especially the long slim fuselage and the upper rear fin. But with the Alliance Phoenix on the side the Star Wars is clear.

Wow I'm even not aware of that ship's existence and yet it looks really similar. It's really weird, but this one is a result of mixing the existing Nebulon B frigate, rearranging its parts and adding more angular shapes. I guess the creator of the M4 was also inspired by concept vehicles for original Star Wars trilogy :)

Today, with so much SciFi out, it´s almost impossible to design something completely unseen. You will have 1 or 2 elements that someone knows from a design somewhere you where never aware off. I often had an idea only to find a very similar thing or plot development in a movie or game, and i´m not even an artist! XD

Yeah I think that most of the basic shapes have been used up by now :D I just decided to make rather simple vessels with distinctive colors and details.
