Star Wars Sienar Fighter Prototype by AdamKop Star Wars Sienar Fighter Prototype by AdamKop

3D render of a Star Wars Sienar Fighter, featuring four traditional solar panels, two prototype panels and a single thrust engine.

The main idea behind this ship is to have a very capable fighter that could stand up against a number of enemy fighters, sporting a large amount of energy banks (used for shields and laser fire) and engine that makes it possible to keep up pace with every fighter. Large experimental wings collect electromagnetic energy and make the ship virtually limitless in terms of operating range and energy availability.

[edit1] I changed the main file for a better one, hope it doesn't get compressed as much as it did before.

If you're interested in commissions, please visit this page: Sci-Fi 2D + 3D CommissionsHello, you arrived at my Commisions page :)
If you are interested in getting a CGI image created for you, please continue to the section you are interested in. There are three sections:
Section A for all kinds of 2D images
Section B for various 3D renders
Section C for blueprints and line art
I do all kinds of art and I'm opened to different styles (vector drawings of a Star Wars ship, 3D render of a Stargate vehicle, blueprint for a Dune tank and of course every kind  of original universe objects and scenes) so don't be afraid to ask for what you want.
You can also check examples of my commisioned work and private gallery works on the bottom of this entry.
I am looking forward to working with you and seeing a happy finish

A Sienar counterpart to the E-Wing? Or a least something similar.
I like it.

Thanks :) It was actually an "extension" to one of my previous concepts - I just made the horizontal wings a lot longer and changed the rest of the ship.

seiner fleet systems finally made something less laughably pathetic than the TIE/ln fighter.

"TIE fighters, after hydrogen and stupidity, are the most common resource in the galaxy"
they can build them by the hundreds. there actually pretty deadly in numbers greater than 4...

Haha yeah in some instances they were better and sometimes they were useless. In Rogue Squadron games you could get them by dozens in an A-wing that had its shields down, but in TIE Fighter/X-Wing games they could take on Rebel fighters with a little help of wingmates. For me though, TIEs will always be the worst thing in the galaxy :D

TIE defenders are pretty intimidating. their a pretty good match for a X-wing, can kill Y-wings with little problem, easy prey for an experienced E-wing pilot though... then again, E-wings are pretty powerful.

oh yeah, the Defender was a really cool thing. I've been replaying TIE Fighter lately and had a lot of fun with it. Not digging the missile boat though, as it has a pretty poor laser.

if i was building my fleet, i would probably use a few headhunters, old ARC-170s, anything that was old and therefore cheap, but not necessary bad. i'd use nubian B frigates as makeshift escourt carriers, can carry 24 fighters pretty good for a small ship.

From what I remember, Headhunters were the worst Rebel ships in TIE Fighter :) You could take them on with a standard TIE and one missile from anything else got the job done.

First, I like to say a very well done with this piece. However...is it called the 'Sienar Fighter' or...
the TIE Wing, as in quacky112 image, which he based it off of an image by kavinveldar ? Because...they do look similar.

Yeah I saw that TIE Wing some time ago, but this one was actually a "successor" to a commission that I did :

and there is a bit of F-302 from Stargate as well :)

Yeah, I remember the Crusader..one of my personal favorites.
And now that I look back...I do see the difference between yours and his.
Also, I do see the F-302 in it now that I think a bout it. (I love Stargate SG-1)

Again, it's a lovely piece in the line of many you've done. Keep up the good work.
